Based near Oban in Argyll, Melfort Marine Surveys are well placed to service the sailing centres of the surrounding area and are one of the few companies able to quickly access the north west of Scotland and the Islands. Travel is not a problem and we are able to cover the Clyde, the East Coast, and the rest of the UK and abroad.

We will carry out surveys on most types of small craft, whether for pre purchase or for insurance. We have a practical background in boat repairs and are able to offer damage surveys whether for the owner or insurance company, and we can advise on repairs and supervise contractors. We also offer a consultancy service for complete or partial refitting, or for boat purchase.
